Movies on the Cheap: Once again, AMC Theatres is rolling out the red carpet for Oscar-nominated films, with two weekends of marathon screenings featuring discount prices.
This is your chance to catch up on one or more of the ten nominated films for Best Picture before the Oscar awards ceremony.
This year, AMC Theatres is bringing back its popular AMC Best Picture Showcase Marathon with two options — there’s a two-day weekend screening event, and also a 24-hour marathon.
Two-Day Weekend Event
The Two-Day Event offers the opportunity see all of the nominated films on two successive Saturdays – Feb. 22, 2025 and March 1, 2025.
Day One:
I’m Still Here – 12:00 PM
Conclave – 2:45 PM
Nickel Boys – 4:55 PM
Anora – 8:15 PM
The Substance – 10:45PM
Day Two:
Wicked – 12:00PM
The Brutalist – 3:10PM
A Complete Unknown – 7:45 PM
Dune: Part Two – 10:15PM
This special two-day event takes place at select locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts. Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

24-Hour Marathon on March 1, 2025
There is also 24-Hour Marathon in which fans can see all 10 nominated films in one long day.
The special one-day event take place only at select locations in California, Massachusetts and New York.
