Every year there are special Veterans Day discounts and deals for current and retired military at retail store chains, hotels, museums and more, including free admission extended to family members.

2022 Veterans Day Discounts – Retail Stores
AARP — AARP salutes you for your service to our country with a special membership offer. Join for only $9 per year with a 5-year term and save up to 43% off. Or join for 1 year for just $12 and save 25% off the standard annual rate.
Academy Sports + Outdoors — Active-duty service members and veterans get 10% off the entire purchase online or in-store from October 23 through November 13.
Alpine Rings — Active duty, guard/reserve, veterans, and their families receive 30% off on November 11. Service must be verified.
Branded Bills — Veterans, active-duty military and their dependents get 25% off online November 11 through 13.
Brides Across America – This organization holds wedding gown giveaways for military in partnership with bridal salons across the country in November. Qualifying brides must register to attend an event at a participating bridal salon. There is a $75 tax-deductible donation required when registering for the event. Attend the event and select one of the designated gowns on display.
Crunch Fitness — Veterans, active-duty military, and their families can work out for free from November 7 through 13. They also get an additional discounted offer that includes $0 enrollment and $3 off standard recurring dues on Peak Results.
DEVIL-DOG Dungarees — Veterans get 50% off from November 3 through 13.
Food Lion — Active-duty military personnel and veterans save 10% on their in-store shopping purchase total before taxes on November 11. Show your military ID and MVP Card at checkout.
Goodyear Auto Service and Just Tires – The nationwide ‘Car Care Checks for Vets’ promotion runs from November 10-14 and includes free tire, brake and battery checks, plus, an additional 10% off tires and services. For those unable to get their car in by Nov. 14, qualifying guests are able to schedule an appointment by Nov. 14 and still take advantage of this deal through Nov. 17.
Grace for Vets — Car washes from around the world who join this program offer free car washes to veterans and service members on November 11.
Great Clips – On November 11, veterans and active service members can go into any U.S. Great Clips salon and get a free haircut or a free haircut card for a future visit. In addition, non-military customers who get a haircut on Veterans Day will also have the opportunity to pay it forward. They can receive a free haircut card to give to an active service member or veteran that can be redeemed for a free haircut from November 12 through December 9.
HYLETE — There are two Veterans Day promotions from November 11 through November 13. For an extra 10% off service league pricing shoppers can use code “VET10” or for $20 off a $100 purchase shoppers can use the code “VET20”. Only one code may be applied per order.
JB’s Gourmet Spice Blends — Get a 15% discount on your entire order during the week of Veterans Day (November 6 through 13) with code Veteran.
Kohl’s — Veterans, active and former military personnel, and their immediate families get 30% off in-store purchases from November 11 through 13.
Publix — Veterans and active-duty military personnel get a 10% discount on groceries on November 11.
Rack Room Shoes— Military personnel and their dependents get a 20% discount off their entire purchase in store on November 11.
ScrubaDub — Veterans and current military service personnel can enjoy a free car wash at any of their tunnel locations on November 11 with a valid ID.
Sleep Number — Active-duty military and veterans receive 20% off most Sleep Number 360® smart beds, all bases, and most bedding purchases. This offer is valid November 1 through 14.
Sport Clips — On November 11, participating locations will provide free haircuts to veterans and active-duty service members with valid proof of service.
Target — Target is offering a 10% military discount through November 12 to all active-duty military personnel, veterans and their families. The discount can be used on two separate transactions and applies to all in-basket items, online and in-store.
TOPS — Veterans and active military personnel receive an 11% discount off of a total order on November 11.
Vitamin Shoppe — From November 10 to 13, veterans receive a 25% discount on their entire purchase at any in-store location of The Vitamin Shoppe and Super Supplements.
Walgreens — On November 11 through 14, veterans, active-duty military and their families receive 20% off regular price eligible store items at any Walgreens drugstore nationwide and in Duane Reade locations in New York City.
2022 Veterans Day Discounts – Travel & Recreation
9/11 Memorial and Museum — The military and veteran community, including U.S. active and retired military, U.S. military veterans, and Blue & Gold Star Families, receive complimentary admission November 9 through 13 at the famous NYC museum. Advance reservations are encouraged.
Akron Zoo — Veterans, past and current, receive free admission with valid military ID, and immediate family members receive 50% off admission, November 9 through 13. To receive a Veterans Appreciation Days discount, go to the ticket counter to purchase tickets.
Aquarium of the Pacific — Veterans and active-duty military personnel get free admission on November 11.
B&Bs for Vets — Hundreds of inns and B&Bs will honor active-duty military and veterans for Veterans Day with free stays. Most of the inns are offering one free room night on November 10 or 11, but offers may vary.
Birmingham Zoo — Veterans, active-duty military and their dependents (up to six total) get free admission November 11 through 13.
Caesars Entertainment – In 2022, all Caesars Entertainment resorts (including properties in locations like Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and more), will offer up to 40% off the best available rate for veterans and active-duty military for bookings made between Nov. 7-13 for future stays. Blackout dates apply. The discount does not apply to food or resort credits or for show tickets.
Cincinnati Zoo — All members of the military will receive free admission on November 11. The offer also allows military personnel to purchase up to six half-price admission tickets for members of their immediate family.
Columbus Zoo and Aquarium — Military personnel, both past and present, can enjoy half-priced admission on November 11 with military ID or proof of service.

Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden — Veterans get free admission on November 11.
Jefferson Lines — Veterans and active military members get free tickets anytime between November 1 through 11. Free tickets are available for travel departing on November 11 through November 23 for both one-way and round-trip tickets. Veterans and active military members with roundtrip tickets are welcome to return at a later date anytime through December 31, 2022.
Killington Resort— Active-duty, retired and honorably discharged members of the military receive a free lift ticket on November 11.
Knott’s Berry Farm — Active-duty military and veterans receive discounted admission for themselves and up to five guests from November 1 through November 17 and November 28 through December 15. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Knott’s Berry Farm ticket booths.
Montgomery Zoo — Veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their dependent family members receive a 50% discount on regular daytime admission to the Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Learning Museum, November 6 through 12.
Monticello— Veterans get complimentary admission November 11 through 13.
Montpelier — Veterans and active-duty service members get a free “Highlights of Montpelier” tour and Museum Shop discount on November 11.
Mount Vernon — All active-duty, former, or retired military personnel are admitted for free on November 11.
National Parks — On November 11, veterans will get free admission to all National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee.
National WWI Museum and Memorial — Admission is free for veterans and active-duty military personnel, November 11 through 13.
NEW Zoo & Adventure Park— Veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their immediate families get free zoo admission onNovember 11.
North Carolina Zoo — Military personnel, veterans and one accompanying guest get free admission November 7 through 13.
Pro Football Hall of Fame — Veterans plus one guest get free admission and parking to the Veterans Day Event & Expo on November 11. A 20% off discount in the Hall of Fame Store will also be offered.
San Antonio Zoo — Active-duty, retired, veteran members of the military, National Guard and Reserves get free admission throughout November. Plus, up to four immediate family members can receive 50% off single day tickets on date of visit.
True REST Float Spa — Active-duty military members and veterans get a free 60-minute float therapy session on the 11th of every month, including November 11. All spa locations will close on Veterans Day to the public to serve service members.
Westgate Resorts — Westgate Resorts is celebrating its 11th annual Military Weekend celebration, in which 1,000 active-duty U.S. military members, veterans, and Gold Star families will be honored with a free three-day, two-night vacation in Orlando December 9 through 11. Registration opens on November 11 at 9 a.m. exclusively on the Westgate Resorts Mobile App.
Winchester Mystery House — Veterans and their family members get 30% off for Winchester Mystery House Daily Estate Tour Tickets, November 11 through December 31. Must buy at box office and show valid Military ID.
World of Coca-Cola — Military members (active duty, reserves and retirees) can enjoy a visit free of charge year-round, and from November 4 through 13, they can also purchase up to 4 general admissions tickets for 50% off for their friends and family. Advanced purchase online necessary.
