If you get an official looking email from something called the US Solar Department offering to reduce your utility bill, do not open it.
There is no US Solar Department in the US government, so this official looking email is very likely a fraud, scam, or phishing scheme to steal your identity or add Trojan horse malware into your computer.
The offer I just got with the official looking graphic here is from somebody at the domain rseidemann.com, not from the US Government or any recognized utility in the USA.
More, rseidemann.com comes up as a non-existent domain in a Google search.
That tells me the creep who is emailing these notices is bogus, a fraudster, scammer, identity thief, etc.
Do not click any links in this fraudulent email from the U. S. Solar Department.
That includes the “unsubscribe” link.
Just delete the whole thing.
Bye bye, scammer.

These people were not authorized to inject themselves into my private E mail. I am going to hunt them down and invite them to make sure they never contact me again. I am writing them to ask them to disclose how they obtained my private E mail. Hopefully, they will cooperate and disclose that info.
I have had enough. Now – they have a choice…cooperate…or make headlines.

this is a starter company and does really work, it just depends on which state you live in and if that state offers tax credits and rebates. Some states like California pay huge tax credits because a guy I know brought me a check to the bank for 30k for adding solar panels to a farm he owns in California. I work at the bank by the way and as soon as the state i live in starts to provide the tax credits and rebates i will start my process of adding this feature. I can save huge amount over the next 30-40 years.

I am a strong supporter of solar power, which does work, and does pay off for those who install it. This warning regards one specific solar company.

The point is this company is using deception.

The company is definitely using deceptive marketing methods to reach potential customers. There has not been a ‘HUGE” tax credit in the State of CA since the 1970s. There is a FEDERAL tax credit of 30% of system cost. There is also no longer a rebate for solar electricity in CA. The funds were used up around April 2014!
Anyhow solar does work!…no deception needed!
This stuff just turns people off.
