Labor Day is the end of the peak summer travel season, and the beginning of what the travel industry calls ‘shoulder season’, and it’s a season of great travel deals and discounts.

Here are some budget travel bargains to grab before they disappear —

Bahamas —

Viva Wyndham Resorts is offering a special Labor Day weekend rate, from Friday, Sept. 3rd  to Monday, Sept  6th. Stay at the Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach on Grand Bahamas Island for $133 per person, per night, double occupancy, all-inclusive. That price includes meals and free snorkeling.

The Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach was renovated recently, and features 276 rooms with balconies and a 1,200 stretch of white sand beach.

This is a great family vacation destination, with a free Kids Club for kids to age 12 and a Junior Club for tweens to age 16.  The resort is a 45 minute flight from Florida and 13 miles from Freeport Airport.
