Fiji Airways is celebrating its national pride after a Fijian athlete won the first-ever gold medal for the island nation at the recent 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.  Through Sept. 14th, fares are half-off from the U.S. to Fiji, starting from $799 round trip.  Fiji Airways offers non-stop flights via Los Angeles (LAX), Honolulu (HNL) year-round, and seasonally from San Francisco (SFO).

Cathay Pacific is offering fares from $818 between the US and either Tokyo or Seoul.  Purchase by the end of September for travel through the end of November 2016.
