Passover is one of the most joyous of Jewish celebrations, marking the Exodus from slavery in Egypt, led by Moses.
As with all holidays in all religions, food plays a central role, and there are plenty of free Passover recipes and online cooking classes to upgrade your menu, including vegan options.
Passover 2024 is Monday, April 22, and ends after nightfall on Tuesday, April 30. The first two Seder nights are April 22 and 23.
Traditional foods served at Passover include gefilte fish, matzoh ball soup, chopped liver, brisket, roasted chicken, leg of lamb, potato kugel and coconut macaroons.
There are some non-traditional options, too.
