Holiday Meal Deals at National Restaurant Chains

Turkey or ham with all the fixings.  Make it yourself, eat out or take out and bring it home to serve like homemade.  So many choices for holiday meal deals.

Here are what several national restaurant chains are offering to help you decide.

If you go to a restaurant, be sure to tip well, since the kitchen staff and wait staff are giving up their holiday for you.

Reservations are recommended for holiday meals.

The iconic, All-American restaurant brand will serve as America’s Dinner Table again this Christmas on Monday, December 25, starting at 11am local time.

Shoney’s will feature its homestyle, All-You-Care-To-Eat, Freshly Prepared Christmas Day Feast, including holiday favorites like slow-roasted, hand-carved-in-house turkey, cornbread dressing, sliced ham, creamy mashed potatoes and gravy, homestyle green beans and corn bread. To-go individual meals will also be available.

Prices and participation may vary so please contact your local Shoney’s for details.

Holiday Meal Deals – O’Charley’s Restaurant + Bar

Through Jan. 1, 2024, get an O’mazing $20 Family-Style Meal Bundle. With the order of any Family-Style meal online, guests can add a whole pie, a gallon beverage, and an appetizer (spinach dip or pimento cheese dip) for just $20.

From Dec. 28 to Jan. 1, O’Charley’s will take 23% off all online orders. Guests should use code NEWYEAR at checkout.

Celebrate the New Year’s Eve weekend on Dec. 30-31, with Half-priced Appetizers and $5 Drink Specials. The half-priced appetizer special includes the new Pimento Cheese Dip, as well as such  favorites such as the Spinach Dip, Spicy Jack Cheese Wedges, Potato Skins, Pickle Chips, Chips & Queso and Meatball Appetizer. The $5 drinks include Margaritas and Jack Daniels.

O’Charley’s is offering Gift Card Specials through Christmas Eve, including a Free Appetizer for any dine-in guest who buys a $25 gift card during their visit. More info is on the O’Charley’s website.

Holiday Meal Deals – Bob Evans

This year, the return of Bob Evans’ Farmhouse Feasts feature holiday meals to-go that can accommodate gatherings of any size and are packed cold, ready to heat and serve in two hours or less.

Classic Farmhouse Feasts: Choice of three entrée options, including signature turkey that’s slow-roasted for six hours, slow-roasted pot roast with caramelized onions and roasted carrots, or hickory-smoked ham. Also  includes handcrafted sides made from farm-fresh ingredients such as house-made bread & celery dressing, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans with ham, macaroni & cheese, cranberry relish, freshly baked rolls and pumpkin pie.

  • Farmhouse Feasts come in various sizes, serving four, eight or up to 10 people and starts at $79.99.

Holiday Hot Family Meal To Go: Feeds up to six and includes a family-sized portion of hand-carved slow-roasted turkey, hickory-smoked ham steaks, hand-crafted family-size sides – including bread & celery dressing, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans with ham and corn. It also comes with freshly baked dinner rolls, cranberry relish and pumpkin pie. The meal is also available for curbside pickup, carryout or delivery and starts at $99.99. There also are a la. carte choices including house-made bread & celery dressing and mashed potatoes with gravy, starting at $12.99 and serving up to six people.

Sweeten up any holiday meal with delicious pies:  In addition to its everyday classics (Double-crust Apple, Reese’s Peanut Butter), Bob Evans seasonal favorites are back this holiday season, including Pumpkin, Pecan and Triple Berry, starting at $12.29 for whole pies.

Restaurant dining on Thanksgiving Day:

All locations will be open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. for breakfast, lunch and dinner on Thanksgiving Day. Guests can enjoy four all-day breakfast options and a Thanksgiving Holiday Celebration Platter, including Bob Evans signature slow-roasted turkey, three farm-fresh sides, freshly baked bread and a slice of pie.

The celebration platter, starting at $16.99, is available for dine-in, carryout or delivery from November 22-23. A premium version featuring turkey and ham is available for $18.99, and a kid version is available as a dine-in special for $8.99.

Holiday Meal Deals – Dickey’s

Once again, Dickey’s is offering The Complete Feast, The Dinner Feast, and the Holiday Big Yellow Box, as well as holiday whole meats including the Cajun Turkey, Prime Rib, Original Smoked Turkey, or the Spiral Cut Ham to their barbecue fans across the country. Additionally, after 82 years, there’s a new  new holiday side option, the Sweet Potato Casserole.

This year, barbecue lovers can enter the Dickey’s Cashback Catering Contest when placing  their holiday feast order, providing a chance to win cash back.

The buffet chain’s holiday offering lineup includes additional choices on the seasonal Holiday Buffet , an entire Holiday Meal To Go or just a la carte side menu, as well as receive a free $10 Bonus Card with $50 Gift Card purchases.

Holiday Buffet – In addition to the traditional holiday lineup of Carved Roasted Turkey, Glazed Ham, Holiday Beef Roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole, Yeast Rolls, pecan pie, and pumpkin pie, Golden Corral’s Chicken Pot Pie and Cinnamon Apples are back by popular demand with new and improved recipes. King Ranch Chicken is also making its debut on this year’s holiday menu.

  • For a limited time, Weekdays after 4pm. Weekend hours, items and participation may vary.

Holiday Feasts To Go –  A complete meal for six to eight people with the choice of Roasted Turkey, Glazed Ham, or Holiday Beef Roast and all the trimmings – choice sides, rolls, and a whole pie. Pre-order online or through the app now for pickup starting November 1.

  • In some markets, there is an additional choice of  Ready-to-Eat or Heat-and-Serve on your  own schedule.

Holiday A La Carte Items To Go – Order specific items, including  Yeast Rolls, a sweet potato casserole, or a pecan pie to contribute to the office holiday party or Friendsgiving, Golden Corral has them covered.

  • Available to go a la carte through the Golden Corral app or online.

All Golden Corral restaurants will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. – and later in many markets. Seasonal hours for each restaurant can be found on the location pages at GoldenCorral.com.

Holiday meals will be available for order until Jan. 7. The last day to order for Thanksgiving pickup is Nov. 20, and final Christmas Eve pickup orders must be received by Dec. 21.

Holiday Gift Card Bonus – Need a host gift? Guests receive a $10 bonus card with every $50 or more in gift card purchases from Oct. 30 through Jan. 7. The $10 bonus card is redeemable from Jan. 8 through Feb. 13.
