Norse Atlantic – 

This reasonably new airline is launching a new non-stop route between New York City and Rome, and celebrating with fares as low as $239 each way, which means you can visit the Eternal City on the cheap.

This is the fifth European destination for Norse and the first in the Italian market, after successful launches for routes between New York and Paris, Oslo, Berlin and London.

The first flight is set to take off from New York’s JFK  to Rome (FCO) on June 20^th 2023 at 1:00 am EDT.

Norse Atlantic offers two cabin choices – Economy and Premium.

Passengers can choose from a simple range of fares – Light, Classic and Plus, that reflect the way they want to travel. Light fares represent Norse’s value option, while Plus fares include the maximum baggage allowance, two meal services, an enhanced airport and onboard experience and increased ticket flexibility.

The large and spacious Boeing 787 Dreamliner cabin offers passengers a relaxed and comfortable travel experience, with each seat including a personal state of the art entertainment experience. The Premium cabin offers an industry leading 43” seat pitch and 12” recline, allowing passengers to arrive at their destination feeling refreshed and ready to explore.

This iconic airline is launching a new route between New York and Gothenburg, Sweden’s second largest city and one of the world’s most sustainable destinations.

Gothenburg is home to equally iconic car-maker Volvo, also known for sustainability, and for safety.  The iconic crystal manufacturers Kosta and Boda are nearby, too.

Gothenburg is a relatively small city packed with all the highlights of a major international destination: culture, shopping, world-class restaurants and stunning nature.

Also, Gothenburg celebrates its 400th anniversary in 2023, with many events across the city.

The route between Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Landvetter will be aboard a brand-new Airbus 321 Long-Range plane with three each-way departures every week, substantially shortening the travel time.

Departures from New York are on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and from Gothenburg on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This is a seasonal route, for the whole summer season of 2023 and returning for the 2024 summer season.
