The Daily Getaway promotion comes at a time when demand for travel is up, especially last-minute travel.
According to the travel trade publication Insider Travel Report, leisure travel continues to be a high budget priority for American travelers. In June, 62 percent of travelers said leisure travel was a “high” or “extremely high” budgetary item.
But many travelers are holding off on making plans until the last minute. One industry report shows that the majority of hotel bookings (55 percent) are still being made less than a week prior to travel.
Some of these deals are for immediate travel, others for travel any time before mid-2023, and other deals offer points that never expire. That’s the good news.
The bad news is there is a limited number of deals each day, so you have to be in line online to get it.
