The Smithsonian Year of Music crosses disciplines, bringing together music-related resources in art, history, culture, science and education.

Museum Day celebrates the extraordinary power of museums to provide visitors with insight and inspiration, and the event represents a national commitment to access, equity and inclusion. Over 1,300 museums have registered to date. To see the full list of participating museums and download a free ticket please visit: https://www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday

ecoXplorer Museum Day Ticket Tips

Your Smithsonian Museum Day ticket will be e-mailed, and you must print it and bring it with you for free entry.

Each ticket is good for two people, and does not include special exhibits, parking or showings such as IMAX.

If you are a group of more than two, register with different email addresses for the two-ticket limit.

Whether you are part of group or not, go early in the day, since museums have the right to make you wait in favor of paying customers if space reaches capacity.
