Drive a 2017 Acura NSX supercar

Acura NSX_ecoxplorer.comThis is a contest that should get you revved up: the chance for you and a friend to drive an Acura NSX supercar on a real racetrack. The contest is open to US citizens aged 18 and over, who register before midnight on February 18th.

The Acura NSX brings a new experience to the supercar segment, with cutting-edge technologies and design, including being the first hybrid of its kind and the first such street-legal supercar to be designed and manufactured in the United States.

The 2017 NSX breaks the mold through a first-of-its-kind Sport Hybrid Super Handling All-Wheel Drive power unit, a multi-material body structure that includes lots of carbon fiber, advanced aerodynamics and a cockpit that supports performance driving.

The 2017 Acura NSX is the only supercar designed, developed and manufactured in the USA, produced exclusively at the Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio with a significant amount of US-made parts.#DriveAcuraNSXContest

Customer ordering for the 2017 NSX will begin on Feb. 25 at authorized NSX retailers. As the saying goes, if you have to ask how much it costs, you can’t afford it, but it will be less than the $1.2 Million a collector paid at auction recently for the very first model to roll off the assembly line.

That’s a cool $1 million over the sticker price, which will be a bit over $200,000 fully loaded.

The specs for the 2017 model include a combined power of 573hp from the three motors. Remember, this is a hybrid supercar.   Driving modes that switch from racetrack to street legal. Car and Driver compares the NSX to the legendary Porsche 911 GT3.

NSX Driving Experience Rules

#DriveAcuraNSXContest

Since this is all about the bragging rights, the sweepstakes is limited to social media postings and tagging.

On Facebook:  Comment on the promoted Acura post containing the Acura Big Game commercial (the “Video”) using the hashtag #DriveAcuraNSXContest and tagging a friend.

On Twitter: Retweet the Acura Big Game commercial (The “Video”) posted to the Acura Twitter page, tagging a friend’s account, and using the hashtag #DriveAcuraNSXContest.

There’s a limit of one entry per platform, so partner with a buddy and tag one another on both platform to give your “team” four chances to win.

There are four Grand Prizes available. The top prize is a three-day, two-night trip for you and a guest to attend the Acura VIP Performance Experience in Palm Springs, CA.  The prize also includes round-trip airfare, hotel and some meals, plus a $250 gift card to cover additional meals and other expenses.  All so you can do laps on the racetrack with professional drivers.

Complete sweepstakes rules here.

Vroom.
