Got the travel itch?  Scratch it with these getaway deals that will help stretch your travel dollar, including kids stay free packages and a free rental car.

Whether your dream getaway is Caribbean or Hawaii beaches, to feel the sea breeze aboard a cruise ship, or watch cities float by aboard a river cruise, check out these travel deals:

Hawaii: Pleasant Holidays’ Hawaii Vacation Sale combines reduced hotel rates with such added values as complimentary breakfast or kids stay free offers, and a free Hertz car rental for stays of five days or more. Book by May 3, 2015 for travel May 1 through July 2015.

The all-inclusive offer is good at your choice of 37 participating hotels and resorts on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island, ranging from budget to five-star. Several participating resorts also are resort-fee free, providing additional savings of up to $30 per day.  Book directly with Pleasant Holidays, or through your travel agent.

best free travel appRiver Cruises: Quick Sail is a new program of savings on last minute bookings on most major river cruise lines, including AmaWaterways, Avalon Waterways, Emerald Cruises, Scenic River Cruises, Uniworld and Viking River Cruises.

Get up to half off normal prices, plus a $250 Visa Gift Card on new bookings made by June 30, 2015.  Some river cruise packages offer FREE air fare, and all include FREE shore excursions in each port, gourmet meals and fine wines with lunch and dinner.  It’s a civilized way to visit such cities as Paris, Amsterdam and Budapest.Quick Sail is from Premier River Cruises, a cruise-only tour operator.

Holland America is celebrating its 142nd anniversary with a sale that features a shore excursion credit of up to $400 per stateroom, a dining package, free or reduced fares for third and fourth guests in a stateroom, and half off deposits.

The Holland America Anniversary Sale is valid on the line’s summer 2015 through winter/spring 2016 voyages, when an ocean-view and above stateroom is booked by June 1, 2015. In addition to the dining package, special third- and fourth-guest fares and reduced deposits, guests who book a suite also receive a bonus shore excursion credit up to $800 per stateroom, a 100-minute Internet package and an Anniversary Beverage Card valued at $100.

Bahamas: The Abaco Beach Resort and Boat Harbour Marina money-saving packages for upcoming holidays in 2015. This is a 40-acre beachfront resort on Abaco, a “quiet” Bahamas island away from the crowds and bustle.

Each of these offers is four-day/three-night in a standard beachfront accommodation. Rates are per person based on double occupancy, and all packages include free daily breakfast and airport transfers:

  • Take Mama to Bahama Mother’s Day Weekend Package: $228 per person includes Mother’s Day brunch buffet, a massage in an airy beach cabana, $250 airfare credit per couple, daily breakfast and more.  Additional nights at  $141 per person
  • Memorial Day Weekend Beach Getaway Package: $209 per person includes one day bicycle rental for two adults, dinner for two at Angler’s Restaurant and free use of non-motorized watersports equipment (kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling gear). Additional nights at $147 per person.
  • Fourth of July Endless Weekend Celebration Package: $231 per person includes a fireworks display and barbecue on the beach, a day excursion to historical Elbow Cay with round-trip water taxi (transfers included), Guana Cay beach and sun experience including round-trip water taxi, and free use of non-motorized watersports equipment (kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling gear). Plus, kids aged 12 years or younger stay and eat free when dining with an adult and ordering off the kids’ menu. Additional nights cost $231 per person, per night.
