National restaurant chains are offering Mother’s Day freebies that include a free dessert or free entree. Here’s a list, alphabetically, of more than 60 US restaurant chains offering meal deals to give mom the chance to avoid cooking and cleaning on Mother’s Day.

Keep in mind that most offers are dine-in only, can’t be used with other coupons or discounts, and don’t include gratuity. Participation and prices may vary by location, and unless otherwise noted, the Mother’s Day discount is only on Mother’s Day 2014, Sunday, May 11. Reservations are recommended, and remember to tip well, because the kitchen staff and servers have moms, too.
American Steakhouse – Free dessert
Arooga’s Grille House & Sports Bar – Moms eat free with the purchase of greater or equal value and a maximum discount $16. One offer per table. Not valid on Sunday Funday Wing Specials.
Baskin-Robbins – Special ice cream cakes just for Mom can be purchased either in-store or through Baskin-Robbins’ online cake ordering site.
Beef ‘O’ Brady’s – Complimentary meal valued at $10 at participating Beef ‘O’ Brady’s. Dine-in only.
Blue Moon Mexican Cafe – Mother’s Day Brunch, 11 am – 3 pm. $18.95 per adult, $9.95 per child. Dinner menu also served 12 noon – 10 pm. Flowers for the moms.
Bob Evans – Rise & Shine Breakfast, $7.99. Blackened Sirloin 3-course Steak Dinner, $10.99.
Bob’s Burgers and Brew – Mother’s Day Brunch begins at 9 am. $19.95 adults, $14.95 seniors and children 6-12, children 5 and under free.

Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop – Kids get special coloring pages that include a voucher moms can redeem for a FREE 9” sandwich or salad from May 11-17.

Country Buffet – Special Mother’s Day menu includes traditional ham and Prime Rib entrees and a special dessert from Friday, May 9 (3:30 pm – close) through Sunday, May 11 (11 am – close). Also available at corporate siblings Fire Mountain and Old Country Buffet.
Dairy Queen – Any mom who gives birth on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11, 2014 can email a copy of her baby’s birth certificate to DairyQueen@piersongrant.com by noon Eastern Time on Saturday, May 31, 2014 to receive a gift card for a free DQ Cake. Requests must include the mother’s full name, email, phone number and complete mailing address.
