Indy Pass is adding 50 new downhill and cross-country resorts in the USA, Canada, Europe, Scandanavia and Japan for the 26/27 season, expanding its network of independent resorts beyond 300.
As always, sales of the pass are limited, to prevent overwhelming these smaller including member areas, including family-owned and operated. So if you snooze, you lose out.
Sales are open now to those on the waitlist for last season, and open to the general public on Sept. 8.
“Last spring, we sold out of Indy Passes in just 37 minutes, a clear signal that skiers and riders are hungry for affordable access to independent ski areas,” said Indy Pass Director Erik Mogensen in a press release sent to ecoXplorer.
“We won’t oversell the pass and compromise the authentic experience that Indy Pass and its partners deliver.”
It’s a sell-out because it’s such a good deal – $399 for two days at each resort, with discounts for additional days.
The 25 new resorts previously announced for the 26/27 season last spring include:

- Franconia Village, NH (XC)
- Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center, NH (XC)
- Haymaker Nordic Center, CO (XC)
- Les 7 Laux, France
- Levi, Finland
- Murray Ski Ridge, BC
- Northern Maine Community Trails, ME (XC)
- Onikoube Ski Resort, Japan
- Paul Bunyan Ski Area, WI
- Pebble Creek Ski Area, ID
- Pizol, Switzerland
- Spirit Mountain Nordic, MN (XC)
- Steamboat Ski Touring Center, CO (XC)
- Stöten i SÄlen, Sweden
- Stranda Ski Resort, Norway
- The Loppet, MN (XC)
- Thrill Hills, ND
- Whitecap Mountains Resort, WI
Indy+ Pass holders also receive discounted access at North Cascade Heli, WA.
The 50 additional new resorts are being announced on Sept. 8 – when they are, we’ll add them to this list.
