Made in USA Holiday Ornaments & Decorations

Made in USA Christmas ornamentsWe all know what recent new tariffs have done to prices, and what outsourcing and moving manufacturing overseas did to the US economy.

Keep your holiday budget under control by shopping instead with these small businesses which sell only Made in USA holiday ornaments, decorations and other items for Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanzaa.

Help the US economy, especially small businesses, and do something special for your family by buying Made in USA holiday ornaments, gifts and other items.

A recent Gallup Poll found that 72% of Americans are paying “heightened attention” to the country of origin of the products they buy, and that 65% are making an effort to specifically avoid products made in China or other countries.

Most Americans want to buy products made in the USA.  Luckily, they aren’t so difficult to find.

A few years ago, I was horrified to find mostly foreign-made articles in the gift shop of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.  Yeegads — you would think the West Point gift shop would feature t-shirts and other souvenirs Made in America.

But, as I said — holiday decorations with the Made in America label are not difficult to find if you know where to look – and we do – including several family-owned businesses.

Where to Buy Holiday Decorations Made in the USA:

Bronners

You can indulge with items starting at $5.

In addition to ornaments, there are garlands, holiday puzzles, Nativity scenes and more.

Craftspring

This is a relatively new company which makes soft fabric ornaments from ethically-sourced materials.

Everything is designed in Brooklyn, NYC.

The Jolly Christmas Shop

This holiday-only mail order collection includes ornaments, garlands, indoor and outdoor decorations, and collectible figurines.

Some things are pretty pricey, such as three snowflake stakes for $109, so be sure to check prices carefully before you click to buy.

The Christmas Loft

Everything from ornaments and decorations to holiday cards.

MerryStockings Personalized Stockings

There are both personalized and non-personalized stockings offered.  The non-personalized ones are made from fabric sourced from the American Woolen Mill and hand cut and sewn in Minnesota.

The personalized versions are  knit together in Iowa with wool made in Nebraska.

Tree-Free Greetings

This company produces make beautiful cards for holidays and all occasions year round, including for Christmas, birthdays and anniversaries.

The cards are made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper in a 100% solar-powered print and production facility in Keane, New Hampshire.

Every card is made with VOC free products and vegetable-based inks.

No Longer in Business

Sadly, the company named A Christmas Ornament Co., which we have featured in the past, is no longer in business.

Also,  Nortons USA has closed its online store.

If you know of any other companies which are promoting American-made products, email us so we can add them to this list.
