The 2024/25 ski/snowboard season in the Northeast is getting an extension thanks to a storm system dumping a foot or more of powder on trails and glades.
In between turns, now is also the time to get early-bird discounts on season passes for the 2024/25 season, some with perks to use them now, for the rest of this season.
Here’s what you need to know about the New England Pass and the all-new Peak to Peak Poconos Pass.

New England Pass for 2024/25 Season
This offers season-long access to Sunday River Resort and Sugarloaf in Maine and New Hampshire’s Loon Mountain Resort, starting at $919 for adults and $429 for youths.
Al three are operated by Boyne Resorts, the largest family-owned four-season resort company in North America, which also operates Big Sky, Montana, part of the Ikon Pass.
There are several pass options, but all access 388 trails, 2,647 acres, and 17 terrain parks connected by 47 lifts and recent improvements. Those include Sugarloaf’s huge recent West Mountain expansion, Loon’s South Peak expansion, and Sunday River’s Barker 6-person lift.
Existing New England Pass holders, and those who purchased a NE Day or Maine 4-Pack ticket pack in 2023/24, can get a special renewal discount.

Gold New England Pass
This is the most popular pass, with an option to add an Ikon Base Pass, gaining access to over 50 more resorts worldwide for an additional $299. This upgrade includes pass privileges at Pleasant Mountain in Maine plus western Boyne resorts including Big Sky Resort, MT, and Brighton, UT. Boyne Rewards members can use their Pay with Points when purchasing online.
Gold New England passes also include 50% off additional days at Mountain Collective resorts.

Silver New England Pass
This offers skiing and riding seven days a week except for 12 blackout dates. It includes 50% off one-day tickets at Pleasant Mountain, Big Sky Resort, Brighton, and other western Boyne resorts.

Bronze New England Pass
Valid weekdays only, except for blackout dates and expanded weekend access during early and late seasons at select resorts.

About Sugarloaf
- Located in Carrabassett Valley, Maine, Sugarloaf is the largest ski area in the East and home to the only lift-serviced above-treeline skiing and riding in the East. New Peak to Peak Poconos Pass for 2024/2025 Season
The first-ever Peak to Peak Poconos Pass for Camelback and Blue Mountain in Pennsylvania offers unlimited skiing/riding for the rest of this season and next, dedicated lift lines for pass holders and other freebies and perks for $899 until April 3, and $999 until Oct. 4.
Both mountains are within two hours of New York City and Philadelphia, both owned by KSL Resorts, which also operates luxury hotels in California and New York and the Outrigger Hotels and Resorts chain in Hawaii.
At Camelback Resort, in Tannersville, additional pass perks include –
