United is adding more than 100 new flights to popular destinations in the U.S. and Canada for the upcoming summer season.
Expanded flights include some of the most scenic spots in North America. That includes Anchorage and Fairbanks in Alaska, Jackson Hole and Bozeman, the northern and southern access points for Yellowstone National Park, plus Canadian cities including Calgary, Vancouver, and Halifax.
According to travel trade publication Travel and Tour World, the airline observed what is described as “a heightened demand” for outdoor travel and exploration of picturesque destinations, such as national parks and mountain towns, amid the pandemic, and especially since, and is bolstering service accordingly.
The summer schedule will feature almost 70 daily flights to renowned national park destinations like Bozeman, MT, Jackson Hole, WY, and Kalispell, MT, the primary gateway to Glacier National Park.
Both offer memorable scenery and wildlife.

For Alaska, United plans to offer an average of ten daily flights this summer, the highest in over a decade.
This includes the introduction of the only nonstop flight from Washington, D.C. to Anchorage, with service beginning on May 23.
Flights Between US and Canada
United will offer more than 150 daily flights between the two countries, serving nine Canadian destinations from all seven U.S. hub airports, including the resumption of flights between Halifax-Newark/New York, Vancouver-Washington, D.C., Winnipeg-Denver, and new services from Chicago to Winnipeg and Quebec City.
Following the 2022 expansion of the partnership between United and Air Canada, United’s presence in the Canadian market has grown by over 70%. Customers can now seamlessly connect to 25 additional Canadian cities on Air Canada, enjoying the benefits of both carriers’ MileagePlus® and Aeroplan loyalty programs.
In Canada, United will reinforce its position as the largest U.S. carrier by providing the most flights to various destinations.
Tickets for the newly introduced nonstop flights are currently available for purchase through the United app and United.com, offering travelers an opportunity to plan their summer adventures.
