St. Patrick’s Day means parades and green beer, bagels, donuts and milkshakes – plus great deals at national restaurant chains. Some are valid only on Friday, March 17, 2023, others for a few days before and after.
Our leprechauns have been busy searching for this pot of gold list of money-saving deals, offered alphabetically, because that’s the only fair way.
Since not all locations participate, be sure your favorite one is on the list and you are not disappointed enough to turn orange or red with frustration, even anger.
Thanks to the trade publication Restaurant News and other sources for this list of St. Patrick’s Day restaurant deals for eating and drinking.

Dog Haus
The current entry for the chain’s well-named Absolute Würst Sausage Series is a Corned Beef and Cabbage Sausage.
Available through March 31, this Irish-themed dog features an all-beef sausage blended with cabbage, garlic and corned beef spices in a sheep casing, served on the chain’s signature grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls. Order – if you dare – in a choice of ways, and be sure to have your Rolaids or Prilosec handy:
- “Würst Way” with grilled sauerkraut, white American cheese and secret sauce;
- “Breakfast Way” (pictured here) – tortilla stuffed with Corned Beef and Cabbage sausage, tater tots, three sunny-side up eggs, white American cheese, caramelized onions and spicy mayo.
- “Your Way” with choice of toppings;
- “Corn Dog Way” dipped in Dog Haus’ root beer batter; and
- “Sliced Way” grilled and sliced with their choice of dipping sauce.
My way is to try not to think about my father, a butcher born in Frankfurt – where wursts are the best and American cheese is verboten on anything, including hot dogs – from spinning in his grave.
The only good thing about this Corned Beef and Cabbage sausage abomination is that Dog Haus donates $1 to No Kid Hungry from every Absolute Würst Sausage Series item sold. The national charity works to end childhood hunger by ensuring that kids get the food they need in various ways.

According to statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau, 46% of adults plan on celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, while 20% of adults plan on having a drink to celebrate.
But let’s be honest here – about 80% of adults don’t respond truthfully in surveys, perhaps even more about drinking on St. Patrick’s Day.
