JetBlue Adds New Routes From New York, Boston, Los Angeles

JetBlue plane in flightJetBlue has announced new domestic and international routes from four major US airports, with those flights now on sale.

JetBlue added new routes from New York and Boston through its Northeast Alliance (NEA) with American Airlines, and an all-new international route in Los Angeles.

JetBlue’s new flights from New York and Boston adds new offerings to routes that have been underutilized.

Across New York’s three major airports, the JetBlue/American Airlines NEA will fly more than 500 daily departures in 2023, as well as nearly 200 daily departures in Boston.

So far, the NEA has resulted in approximately 50 new routes, increased frequencies on more than 130 existing routes, 90 nonstop routes with increased capacity and 17 new international routes launched.

“The Northeast Alliance continues to provide us with new opportunities to unlock even more growth potential in New York and Boston, with added benefits for customers across our network as we introduce new flying in markets where for too long travelers have had little or no competition,” said Dave Clark, head of revenue and planning at JetBlue.

“At the same time, we’re introducing new flying elsewhere in our network to grow on the West Coast as part of our broader 2023 growth plans.”

New JetBlue Flights in 2023

JetBlue’s new flights from New York’s LaGuardia Airport include flights to Atlanta (ATL), and summer seasonal routes to Bermuda (BDA) and Hyannis (HYA) on May 5, 2023. Daily schedule between LaGuardia and Nassau (NAS) starts March 30, 2023.

JetBlue also is adding Caribbean flights from New York’s John F. Kennedy Internaitonal Airport (JFK).  Beginning on April 6, 2023, JetBlue will add two additional flights, increasing the non-stop route from three days a week to five days. With the increased number of flights, roundtrip routes will be available on a Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday rotation.

Flights will depart New York (JFK) at 8:00 a.m. and arrive in Curaçao (CUR) at 1:25 p.m. with a return flight from CUR to JFK departing at 2:25 p.m. and landing at 6:29 p.m.

JetBlue flights from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) – featuring a new premium Mint route – includes: Saturday Only Mint Schedule between Newark (EWR) and Aruba (AUA) beginning on June 15, 2023, and summer seasonal schedule between Newark (EWR) and Montego Bay (MBJ) starting on June 15, 2023.

JetBlue’s new flights from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) include a daily schedule between Boston (BOS) and Vancouver (YVR), with summer seasonal beginning June 15, 2023.

On the West Coast, JetBlue is launching year-round service between LAX and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (PVR) starting on June 15, 2023. JetBlue will operate service between Los Angeles and 20 nonstop destinations and offer more than 40 peak daily departures this year.
