New cheap in-flight messaging service

in-flight messaging serviceStay connected with friends and family during a flight with a new and cheap in-flight messaging service from Gogo. At $3 or less per flight, it’s cheaper than in-flight internet or the cost of an in-flight movie.

Gogo’s Messaging Pass allows works with familiar messaging applications like WhatsApp, Viber, Skype, iMessage and other popular messaging services.

The messaging pass can be purchased only on mobile devices, the same way a passenger purchases an Internet session.  Just launch your mobile browser and select “Messaging Pass” from the in-flight portal home page.  The messaging pass is available on most Gogo equipped flights in the U.S. and Canada.

gogo logoGogo works with a dozen major commercial carriers, and the in-flight internet service is on more than 2,500 planes, so you have a good chance of flying one this holiday season.

The in-flight service is also on nearly 7,000 business aircraft.

Gogo has more than 900 employees and is headquartered in Chicago, with additional facilities in Broomfield, Colorado and overseas.
