Loews Hotels in five US cities are offering guests the free use of a Fiat 500 during their stay, either as a loaner or as a chauffeur-driven ride.
The participating hotels are Loews Madison Hotel in Washington, D.C., Loews Regency Hotel in New York City, Loews Hollywood Hotel, Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel and Loews Miami Beach Hotel.
Depending on location, the freebie Fiat is either the Fiat Cabrio convertible, the the Fiat 500e plug-in electric or the longer version called the Fiat 500L.
The Loews-Fiat collaboration is a first for both companies, and the offer is good for up to three hours a day per day during the hotel stay.
The Fiat 500 is a great little car – nimble and fuel efficient, especially the electric with gets the equivalent of 100 miles per gallon. It’s a great city car, and comfortable for long trips, too. And with a starting price of under $18,000, is an affordable best buy.
The new four-door Fiat 500L is quite a ride. Fun, flirty, smart and stylish, the 2014 edition plays out as a sophisticated and attainable urban utility vehicle. With a 1.4L MultiAir Turbo Engine under the hood, six-speed transmission, expansive interior space, and admirable fuel economy of 33 mpg highway and 25 mpg in the city.
Rates at Loews Hotels are from $209 per night.
