Win a 2014 Ford Transit Connect

2014 ford transit connect

Enter to win a new 2014 Ford Transit Connect. It’s a large family wagon or small truck, depending on whether you choose passenger windows or delivery panels.  As a passenger wagon, there’s room for seven and lots of cargo space.  As a truck, it’s ideal for small businesses making deliveries, from construction to catering.

The Ford Transit Connect is rated at up to 30 miles per gallon, so it’s fuel efficient, too.  It’s also one of the most adaptable vehicle models on the planet, with a long list of features to make it a family or business vehicle.

Overview – The 2014 Ford Transit Connect Wagon offers a choice of two fuel-efficient four-cylinder engines, including Ford’s award winning EcoBoost engine, two wheelbase lengths and three trim models.

It features minivan-style sliding side doors, fold-flat second- and third-row seating, a 1,200-pound-plus payload, and choice of a rear liftgate or symmetrical, side-hinged cargo doors.

The all-new Transit Connect Wagon is offered in two wheelbase lengths, for five- and seven-passenger configurations, and at least a 1,200-pound payload and more than 100 cubic feet of cargo space. Ford claims it can tow up to 2,000 pounds, 500 pounds more than a four-cylinder Toyota Highlander SUV.

Engine choices – Transit Connect Wagon offers customers a choice between two fuel-efficient four-cylinder engines – a 2.5-liter and an optional 1.6-liter EcoBoost® that is estimated to deliver 30 mpg-plus on the highway. This powertrain makes Transit Connect Wagon the gas mileage leader among seven-passenger vehicles. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, geared for around-town responsiveness and low-rpm highway cruising.

Style and safety  – Family-friendly features include a full-glass panoramic roof, rear view camera, 6.5-inch touch-screen display with navigation, and Ford’s  voice-activated communications and entertainment system.  Seating surface choices are luxurious leather, comfortable cloth and heavy-duty vinyl, to suit passenger or commercial use.  All Transit Connect Wagon models feature multiple airbags, including pelvis airbags in the front row and side-curtain airbags for back-row passengers.
