New driving safety blog for parents launched by Bridgestone tires

Bridgestone has launched a new FREE safety driving safety blog for parents called Driving…With Children, focusing on how to handle the many distractions parents experience with driving, car safety with children of all ages, including teens.

You’re driving when Susie drops her sippy cup, again, or Johnny begs you to punch the ‘play’ button on the DVD player so his movie can start. It’s no wonder we parents are frazzled behind the wheel.  With distractions coming from every angle, it’s easy to miss a stop sign or float into the other lane.

Driving…With Children is a new addition to Bridgestone’s well-regarded Teen Smart Driving program.  The blog invites parents to share tips and learn how to better prepare their children to be safe drivers, and what to do when the kids grow into those infamous teenage years — and a driver’s license.

Bridgestone released a survey earlier this year containing interesting results regarding teen drivers’ habits and what they observe in their parents’ driving habits.
