Fall Travel Deals to Caribbean Include Free Airfare to Bahamas

Aerial view of Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort, now offering free airfare

The peak summer travel season ends on Labor Day, and that’s when the fall travel bargain season begins.  Here are three dynamite travel deals and discounts, including free airfare and kids stay free  —

Bahamas – Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort

Jamaica – Royal Plantation Ocho Rios

Anguilla – Anacona Beach Resort

Bahamas —

The Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort has a fall savings package that includes free round-trip airfare for a companion or an instant $300 air credit.  Plus, you get  a FREE night with a three-night stay for US residents and a four-night stay for Canadian residents.

Kids aged 17 and under stay FREE, and kids four and under eat FREE.  You have to book this package by September 15, 2010, for travel through December 22, 2010, when peak winter holiday rates kick in.

The Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort sits on a 1,000-foot stretch of one of Nassau’s most beautiful white-sand beaches, and also features a pool complex with flowing waterfalls and whirlpools.

Jamaica’s Royal Plantation Ocho Rios offers beach, garden and discounts for fall travel

Jamaica —

Royal Plantation Ocho Rios is a the luxurious plantation-style resort in Jamaica.  The resort also has a Royal Plan option, which turns your getaway into an all-inclusive experience.

The option includes meals and beverages, which we all know can add a significant amount to the cost of a vacation, plus you get your own private butler to handle details like check-in or arranging a private, romantic dinner for two on the beach.  At sunset, would be my choice.

For travel through December 2010, the resort is offering discounts up to 65% off standard rates, so long as you book your trip by September 20, 2010.  If you stay five nights or more, there’s also a FREE night promotion.

Anguilla —

The all-new Anacona Boutique Resortopens October 15, 2010, with a spectacular $150 a night room rate, and discounts on the chic hotel’s suites.  Owners are Robin and Sue Ricketts, who have been creating and managing top hotels in the Caribbean, including the super-luxurious (and super expensive) Cap Juluca and Malliouhana Hotel nearby.

The Anacona sits on 100 feet of private beach on picture perfect Mead’s Bay.   With just 27 rooms and suites, this is a quiet, personalized island retreat.

Fall is a great time to travel to the Caribbean, and these discount deals help stretch your vacation budget for a romantic getaway or family escape.
