This is the 80th anniversary of the start of the Nuclear Age – the only time an atomic bomb has been used in warfare, and a good time to reflect on the worldwide danger. There are several places in Hiroshima and Nagasaki which memorialize their destruction, the fortitude of the Japanese people to rebuild their cities and their lives and hope for the future in a world without nuclear war.
