Sometimes, you gotta go. But where? This week’s App of the Week is Flushd, which helps you find the cleanest and most convenient bathroom away from home.
Looking for a bathroom with a changing table? Want to to avoid bathrooms with attendants? Have an emergency simply need the closest bathroom? Flushd shows you the way. And when you are done with your personal business, you can review and rate the bathroom for other users.
Bathrooms can be selected based upon quality, distance or feature (i.e. changing table). Once you have settled in-stall, the app becomes a personal curated bathroom reader. TheRead function lets you engage your social feeds, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, or access content from ESPN, BBC World News and other sources.
Flushd also features content on health-related issues from it’s physician co-founders, Jessica Edwards, a board certified gynecologist, and Marc Richman, a board certified urologist.
I just hope you don’t sit there reading while somebody is standing just outside the stall with an emergency.
Right now the bathroom app is FREE, for iPhone and iPad. Download here. Flushd hopes to launch a paid version soon, where the majority of proceeds will be donated to sanitation charities globally.Flushd is published by a company called AhhhMedia, a perfect name for a bathroom finder app..
