Hyatt Regency DC exteriorIf you have a spare $70,000, you can get a special three-day package for two in a hotel suite overlooking the US Capitol building and the inauguration of President Obama.

You are chauffeured from the Washington D.C. airport by limousine to a welcome reception in the private lounge at Article One, the hotel’s signature restaurant, hosted by the hotel’s general manager.

Food and beverages delivered to your room morning, afternoon and evening.

These treats are specially created by the hotel’s executive chef, and showcase the city’s multi-national markets, including artisanal meats, cheeses and breads from Eastern Market; cupcakes from Georgetown’s finest, Georgetown Cupcake; seafood from Maine Avenue Fish Market; and fresh baked lavosh breads from Penn Quarter.

Hyatt Regency DC suiteDaily breakfast-in-bed, and a full  “en-suite dinner” , personally prepared by the hotel’s top chef with wines selected by the hotel’s food and beverage director.

A private tour of the Presidential Campaign exhibit, “Every Four Years,” at the nearby Newseum, followed by  a private limousine tour of the city’s monuments, with sweets and hot chocolate during the ride.

You also receive matching his and hers Burberry scarves and gloves, to help keep you toasty while you watch inaugural events from a special roof-top perch.

The Hyatt Regency Washington Presidential Entourage Package also includes six tickets to the All American Ball on January 20th that is held in the hotel’s Regency ballroom.

The ball features all night dancing, six bands, several  dinner buffets and open bar.  Six tickets – two for you, and four to give away to friends or others who can’t afford a $70,000 hotel package with perks.

So you can feel like Cinderella and Prince Charming – or Michelle and Barack – in preparation for the evening affair, you both get one-hour massage treatments, professional hairdressing for her and  grooming and shaving services for him, in your room.

When it’s time to leave, the hotel’s top chef gives you a gourmet to-go lunch, to eat in the limousine on the way to the airport, or later.

Can’t afford a $70,000 Washington, DC hotel deal?  The Hyatt Regency Washington also has a $30,000 deal, and this one is for four nights, not three, in the hotel’s Capitol Suite, and includes everything the $70,000 deal includes, except you get just two tickets to the All American Ball.
