We all know what outsourcing and moving manufacturing overseas has done to the US economy.
Shop instead with these small businesses which sell only Made in USA holiday ornaments, decorations and other items for Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanzaa.
Help the US economy, especially small businesses, and do something special for your family by buying Made in USA holiday ornaments, gifts and other items.
A recent Gallup Poll found that 72% of Americans are paying “heightened attention” to the country of origin of the products they buy, and that 65% are making an effort to specifically avoid products made in China or other countries.
Most Americans want to buy products made in the USA. Luckily, they aren’t so difficult to find.
A few years ago, I was horrified to find mostly foreign-made articles in the gift shop of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Yeegads — you would think the West Point gift shop would feature t-shirts and other souvenirs Made in America.
But, as I said — holiday decorations with the Made in America label are not difficult to find if you know where to look – and we do – including several family-owned businesses.
