The parent company of Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts is offering unprecedented vacation assurance – or insurance – if you have to postpone, cancel or quarantine because of Covid-19 issues before or during vacation.
It includes airfare credit and a no-penalty reservation change policy.
Sandals Resorts International, parent company of the luxury all-inclusive resort brands, is extending its Sandals Vacation Assurance on all bookings made until March 31, 2022 for travel until next year, Dec. 31, 2022.
It’s called vacation assurance, and it’s free with a booking, but it’s similar to travel insurance policies that are fee-based.
Here’s what Sandals Vacation Insurance includes:
Replacement vacation if a trip is interrupted while on vacation
Replacement airfare credit for U.S. travelers, up to $500 per person on the replacement vacation.
Quarantine stays of up to 14 nights at no charge if required.
COVID-19 testing to meet any government requirement from the comfort of the resort.
Comprehensive Travel Protection Plan with Insurance from Sandals.
Cancel anytime reservation policy, without penalties or added fees for 31 days or more for a 100 percent refund or within 30 days for a future travel date.
A Vacation Assurance Hotline should guests or travel advisors have any questions related to travel protocols or anything else related to COVID-19.
Assurance of industry-leading Sandals Platinum Protocols of Cleanliness at all locations, with heightened health and safety measures.
